Banned Articles

Since most trash is incinerated the following is a list of banned articles not to be put in trash containers per order of the Massachusetts Department Of Environmental Protection.

These items may be brought to the Webster Transfer Station operated by Little River Recycling, a division of Pratt Trucking. Webster residency is not required.

Hours of Operation:

Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 2:45pm. Scale closes at 2:30pm
Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:45pm. Scales closes at 12:30pm

If we go to pickup any of the below material, there will be a Special Pickup Fee. Please call our office to be provided a price quote for service.

Freon shall be extracted through our subcontractor.

    • C.R.T.’s (Cathode Ray Tubes found in monitors and TV’s) are banned from the waste stream and require special handling and disposal – East Coast Electronics of Leominster, MA will be the hauler and final disposal site.

  • This includes paint, drywall compound, foundation sealer, cooking oil, anti-freeze, flammables as motor oil, gasoline, kerosene, insecticides, fertilizers, etc. These items should be returned to the place where the new product was purchased.

1/26/26: Due to the forecasted winter weather, Pratt Waste and Recycling will not be operating on Monday 1/26/26. All pick-ups will be delayed by 1 day for the rest of the week. Monday customers will be serviced Tuesday, Tuesday customers will be serviced Wednesday, and so on for the rest of the week. Keep these tips in mind to ensure we can access and dump your containers after the snow event ends!

1. Close your lids.

2. Do not block access to your containers with snow!

3. Clear a path to your containers.

4. Ensure all trash and / or recycling is inside your container.

5. Go slow if you absolutely have to go around our trucks.

6. Never let your children play near our containers to ensure we can see them at all times.
